Jignesh has been practicing law for 11 years counseling businesses and individuals in a variety of matters.  In employment law, he represents clients in wage and hour disputes, teacher tenure litigation, age and race discrimination cases, retaliation for filing workers’ compensation, violation of the Whistleblower statute (CEPA) and obtained successful jury verdicts.

He has also been involved in advising health care providers in employment matters such as procedures to implement before a doctor’s privileges may be suspended or revoked, reviewing healthcare provider’s internal policies to ensure compliance with HIPAA and recommending changes to their IT policies. 

Jignesh has also represented clients in a wide range of business litigation, including copyright and trademark infringement, product liability defense, franchise termination, advising on workplace privacy, wrongful termination and construction defects law.  His past experience includes serving as an Assistant Municipal Prosecutor for Rutgers University and prosecuting numerous traffic and minor criminal matters.

Jignesh is an active member of the India Cultural Association (ICA) of Central Jersey.  His involvement in the Indian community has led to the representation of several Indian-owned businesses.  His fluency in Gujarati and Hindi, understanding of Indian culture, including expectations of counsel, facilitate smooth communication and improve representation.

As a volunteer attorney for the Wills for Heroes foundation, Jignesh has also drafted numerous wills for firefighters and first responders.

Before entering private practice, Jignesh was a Law Clerk to the Honorable Richard Newman (Ret.), Presiding Judge, Appellate Division, New Jersey Superior Court.
